    Default Road Legal Honda RC213V

    Honda has apparently officially confirmed its intention to produce a road going RC213V somewhere around 2014. The bad news for us less affluent folk is that the street legal RC213V will be quite expensive with limited production (think Ducati Desmosedici RR) and will not be replacing the CBR1000RR. That last part isn't a bad thing as I truly love my CBR...but a race bread V4 from Honda would be noice.

    This is the only quote I could find, but it was apparently announced at a press conference detailing the future plans for Honda.

    Doesn't the GP tech trickle down to the street bikes anyway?

    I guess this will be a more "race ready" street bike.

    Doesn't matter what it is, it won't be as cool as the RC30, IMO. The RC30 was an actual race bike that was made street legal purely for homologation purposes for competition in WSBK, not a street legal bike that was "based" on the race bike.

    The RC 30 and Yamaha R7 still are 2 of the coolest production bikes ever, IMO.

    Agreed....the Oval Pistons were too cool on the RC30.

    RC30 had std pistons. The NR750 had the oval pistons. That was a cool bike as well. They have one at Barber:
