Honda has apparently officially confirmed its intention to produce a road going RC213V somewhere around 2014. The bad news for us less affluent folk is that the street legal RC213V will be quite expensive with limited production (think Ducati Desmosedici RR) and will not be replacing the CBR1000RR. That last part isn't a bad thing as I truly love my CBR...but a race bread V4 from Honda would be noice.
This is the only quote I could find, but it was apparently announced at a press conference detailing the future plans for Honda.
“Since its introduction in 1987, the super sports RC30 has always been loved by a large number of fans and it is with the aim of creating an exciting new story like this that our engineers have joined forces and started the development of a new super sports bike that will exploit the technologies developed in MotoGP.” - Takanobu Ito, CEO
